Black & Bloom

Earlier this year I posted several maxi dresses that I liked for the summer. As we move closer to fall,  the bright colours and trendy patterns are being toned down. The spring and summer floral patterns have been re-configured for the changing season.

Banana Republic Monogram Collection Silvia Silk Gown in black combo. This silk gown is rather elegant and has the perfect colours for fall. I would wear this dress to an August or September wedding or a classy garden party.

Banana Republic Linen Shrug in black. If you're going to be out late in the evening it is always nice to have a sweater or jacket in case the temperature drops. I am a big fan of shrugs like this one. It's small enough that you can pack it in a medium sized bag and be set for the whole day.
